Nice sipper which grows as you wash across the tongue. Jordan did not initially like but found the pleasure in sipping.

Good flavor. A little heavy for my taste.

Too much oak flavor

Pours thick and oily with a thin khaki head. Aroma of dark fruit, roasted malt, and caramel. Slick, syrupy mouthfeel gives way to booze, roasted malt, some more dark fruit, and toffee, which soon again give way to a subtle vanilla and caramel hint. Can also detect some of the wood on the back end. Robust and exceedingly complex, a finely crafted brew from start to finish.

Thick brown syrupy. Scrumptious.

A rich luxuriant brown ale, smooth and malty with just enough hops to not taste too sweet. A good find.
