Dark thick and malty, yet not like a stout or porter, with a great flavor I assume is contributed by Dogfish Heads unique Palo Santo wood fermentation tanks. If I remember correctly it weighs in at 12% alcohol (hard to remember after a few though!..) which is surprising because it's easy to miss on the pallette.

Very strong taste, strange after taste. This has to be your type of beer to truly enjoy it
