Overwhelmingly malty, bitter, strong and delicious....Just too filling. WILL PUT HAIR ON YOUR CHEST, beware ladies.

Pretty good, heavy and dark. Woody flavor with almost a porter taste.

Sweet nose and has a nice starting note of molasses. Then has a note of coffee and finishes with a slight bourbon note.

Alcohol on the nose. Flavor is complex - not too much alcohol flavor. Nice

This was a great brew. Pours black with a very dark head. Smell is rich and malty with lots of ether notes. Flavour has strong malt presence with a delicious bourbon-like note. Finishes with some hints of roasted chocolate. Full-bodied beer that really coats the tongue. Overall, I was very happy with this Dogfish head offering.

Rich and dark/porter-like, hints of chocolate and bourbon.

Thick and syrupy. It's great for what it is, but for a hop head, it drinks like honey - almost no bite to it.

A little too malty for me. But I'm out of IPAs to try
