Will always be a top beer in my book. Smooth and easy to drink for such a high ABV.

Very smooth for as high abv as it is. But sneaky. Taste is outstanding. One of my favorite beers.

Nice spice notes followed by a slight hoppy bitterness, unexpected for what is effectively a quadrupel. Not the cloying sweetness of a La Trappe quad, but a more complex flavor profile. Finish of banana, clove and metal. High ABV is masked well.

Thick head. Slightly sweet, yet spicy. Clean finish. Darker beer, but not heavy at all.

Stone fruit sipper. Nice, warming, yeasty, raisin sweetness. A real delight.
