codehead - May 20, 2013Nice spice notes followed by a slight hoppy bitterness, unexpected for what is effectively a quadrupel. Not the cloying sweetness of a La Trappe quad, but a more complex flavor profile. Finish of banana, clove and metal. High ABV is masked well.
