Pours a dark chestnut brown into a Dogfish Head snifter to a tan 1.5 finger head. The head is frothy and beautiful and this beer has great lacing. Smell: raisin, dark fruit, slight Belgian funk, and perhaps some toffee. Taste is sweet with much of the same. This beer has great body and I cannot detect an iota of the 10% alcohol. Overall: an amazing Belgian beer. I'm also proud to say this bottle is straight from Amsterdam! Note: I have had Westvleteren 12, and this is not quite as good as Westy 12.
