One of the most interesting beers I've ever tasted and I mean that in a good way.

Delicious! Chocolate, coffee, molasses, licorice and smoke. So tasty!

2015 Reserve. Wonderful and strong. Thick, sweet, black. Beautiful. Molasses, vanilla, aged in bourbon barrels.

This is probably my favorite beer.
Thick and very flavorful.

2015 version ... Thick, huge flavor, chocolate, coffee notes, nice warm lingering vanilla booziness in your mouth, rich chewy texture... Legit.. Glad I finally got my hands on a bottle ..4 stars..A definite sipper... the booze aftertaste grows with time, worth a try but not sure it's worth the hefty fee...still not as good as Speedway Stout or Big Bad Baptiste...

Had 2015 reserve. Dark. Pours black. Nice but not boosy.

Wow! Aptly named. Supper dark and rich. Dense pallet that opens up to wonderful complex. Creamy cherry finish. Coffee throughout

Strong. Thick. Hint of licorice detected.
Bottle, home, Feb 2016.

This beer smooth reminds me of Deschutes' anniversary blend but with a bit more kick and a bit smoother. This dark, chocolate, creamy brew is smooth and absolutely delicious. The bourbon barrel gives to the smoothness and boy and I can't even taste the nastiness of black licorice. This is another fantastic beer from an incredible brewery.
