Even after I aged it for 4 years it still has a wonderful boozy kick. Great quad flavor.

Dark in color but not stout, a bit sweet with a thick mouth feel and a light chocolate aftertaste

SRM22. Long lasting off white head. Dark and well carbonated. Figgy aroma. Bursts of intense flavor. Definitely taste the figs and a sharp bite of alcohol. Very warming beer. Delicious

Quite dark, weak head, very slight citrus aroma, tart and bitter but not in a bad way, dry but with a sweet finish, very complex and layered with a smokey after taste, sparkling mouth feel. If I was blind folded I might think it was a wine. profile - August 19, 2016
This is all it was hyped up to be. Dark, smooth, malty, sweet, (someone else said this and is perfect description) pumpernickel bread flavor. Everything you want in a Trappistes quad. Delicious.
