Easily the best Belgian, probably the best beer in the world. Starts like the best high alcohol Belgian in the world, finishes light and not at all sweet. Well worth the money

Aromas of fermenting plums and chocolate, sweet licorice taste, nice tan lace and head, very good, would need to side by side it, tingly strong carbonation, complex, dark fruits, anise, star fruit

What every Quad should be. Hell, every BEER should be. The St Sixtus Monks have this down pat. Find it, drink it, reflect.

Very dark brown with two finger fine foam head. Hard to smell since this is the third Westfleteren beer I've had today, but it seems to actually have a more mellow malt smell than the 8. The flavor is fantastic, with chocolaty and dark roasty malt. The aftertaste remains a little sweet, and the hops are not a prominent factor. The mouthfeel is slightly thicker than the 8 but still good. Overall, 4.5. Definitely would have another

Amazing beer, the best I've ever had!! The complexity and balance is unmatched. I only wish it were easier to get my hands on them.
