A very smooth, sweet, malty beer. The sweetness of the beer is cut by the alcohol, but the alcohol is not overbearing. This beer is dark in color but more in the middle of the color spectrum. A great beer that lives up to the hype!

Did a blind tasting with the St. Bernardus 12 and Rochefort 10. While this beer was a bit more potent and had more of a bite to it, it by no means lives up to its reputation.

Incredibly smooth with a sweet finish. Good thing I bought 5 cases!

Awesome...certainly due to scarcity, but still flavorful and just overall great for all palates

Yeah this is pretty good.

Deep, dark raisin pour. Fascinatingly complex nose- dark fruits, malt, yeast. Heady and intoxicating- cascade of flavors ride on a wave of alcohol that's potent, but not off-putting, all over a subtle, bready base.

Used to be #1 in the world and I'm pretty sure I'd have to agree! It was without a doubt the most complex thing I have ever tasted... The monks have this brew in perfect balance! #Amazing
