Had a 10/14 on 8/15. Was great.

Definitely meant for snifter glass. This would be best for a late night one beer nightcap

Not overly malty. Good caramel

Sweeter and more spice notes than I wanted, also I don't mind paying more for good beer, but $15 for a sixer is steep

Pours dark brown and would-be clear with a big tan head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is big on sweetness and booziness and molasses and candy. Flavor follows suit and is fantastic. It's sticky and lip-smackingly good. Really leaves a mildly yeasty molasses on the tongue, contributing a lingering sweetness. It's a great old ale. Would definitely drink again.

Smells great. Sweat with a malty taste. Best to just sip this one the 10.2% will sneak up on you.

Thicker body. Dark and malty.

My all time favorite beer. I often wish was a little lighter on the hops. I really do love this beer
