Pretty complex. Rich. Good winter ale.

Flavorful and complex but not a pleasant finish for my taste. Heavy molasses finish that lingers. 11/24/12 Too expensive for my enjoyment. I appreciate the quality but will not buy again.

Has a tangy taste. Smoothest finish so far (11/7/11). Not over bodied. Slight apple

Apricot scent with a slight bit of tangyness.slight trace of hops And semisweet flavor. Very small trace of Spices too for coolness.

The best quad you can buy that is easily available.

Gentle molasses and chocolate tones combine for a seductively delicious belgian quad.

Yeast and honey aroma. Pours a dark cloudy amber - like fresh raw unfiltered honey. Thick off white to tan head that dissipates slowly. Full bodied, thick mouth feel that I have come to expect and enjoy from good quads. Grape or sweet white wine flavor. Pleasant alcohol presence. Slight bitterness at the finish. Very smooth. Overall an excellent beer.
