Appearance was amber brown with a nice head, good lacing. The aroma was malty sweet, hops very restrained. The flavor is about exactly what you were smelling, malty sweet with a burnt bitterness. The aftertaste was bitter. The mouthfeel was full.

Nutty. A bit watered down. Big head. No real dominant flavor.

Solid English style brown. Roasty Malts, nice malty English nose. Fairly light body and mouth feel, nice carbonation and color. Just above a session brown for me, complex and savory enough to not be a brown pounder. Delicious, the way a brown should be.
