Good, classic brown ale.

Deep amber color with moderate head. Aroma is malty with a hint of roast. I was expecting there to be a more distinct nutty profile as it was overshadowed by the toasty malt flavor. I didn't enjoy the lingering soy sauce finish. Brown ales typically pair with meats like sausage and rotisserie chicken and hearty food like beef stew. Definitely would not drink this again.

Decent beer. Not a fan of how it finishes.

Nutty smooth dark ale. Nice finish. This is a great beer.

Haven't had one of these in years. Still the standard in Nut Browns as far as in concerned. Nutty as expected with fruity raisin notes. What the English do right with their browns in particular is allow the alcohol to lend the bitterness while letting the malt shine through. Almost a whiskey aftertaste.

Bit of a let down after the beautiful oatmeal stout. Sweet and somewhat bitter.

Smooth dark ale

It's ok. It's basically New Castle darker, creamier & smoother
