Blend of a Scotch Ale, I.P.A, & American Pale. Well hopped & malty. Notes of molasses, coffee, & raisinettes

A pleasing combination of hoppiness and sweetness, delicious and creamy. I wish it had just a little more bang for the buck, but all in all, a solid contender.

Nice and malty but still a satisfying hop prescience. Overall good bee, but couldn't have it all the time.

Crisp, dark, hoppy at the start. Savory finish.

First beer I brewed according to directions of Extreme Brewing by Sam C. Very near to this taste...always be special for me!

A bit to strong. Very dark and heavy.

Smells like an IPA. First flavor is a crisp burst of hops like an IPA, then the creeping, delicious, aftertaste of caramel and chocolate, like a mix between a brown ale and a porter. Bitter hops morphing to the smooth sweetness of chocolate is a perfect blend that makes for an astonishingly great and unique brew.

Chewy, sweet and yeasty with an alcohol warmth after the taste. Very good.

Pours very dark almost ruby brown. Coffee nose and some mysterious fruit tones-like a plum or other overly ripe dark fruit. Good balance if not a bit towards the scotch ale side of things. Liked a lot.
