bees82 - June 16, 2013Tasty, toasty, roasty dark brown ale that definitely shows you its chocolate side, but balances the sweetness with a good helping of hops. In fact, it's almost a little too bitter for me. Medium-bodied and just the right amount of filling.
Dancing Dreamer - June 4, 2013A really nice and interesting brew- will add to the list to buy again! Taste coffee with a nice balance of hops, reminds me of one of my favorite coffee stouts but with a much lighter body- very drinkable. Didn't realize it was a strong ale until I was a little ways in and checked the bottle again... Good thing i love strong ales :)
ItisAnk - June 3, 2013Dark, slightly thick with decent head. Tastes slightly sweet, with a good amount of hops and a bit of maltiness on the back end. Slight hints of coffee and brown sugar.
specksofdust - May 28, 2013Not a big fan of browns, but had high hopes for this one. It did not meet those expectations. It has a nice caramel brown sugar zing and a hoppy finish, but really tastes like a less watery Newcastle.
