Decent brown ale... Nice malty presence.. Slight nuttiness. This beer grows on you after awhile.. Only complaint I have is the mild bite that lingers at the finish.. Remove that and this would be awesome.. Regardless 3 stars.

Very cloudy burnt sienna hue with a slight white head and coconut malty aromas. Very smooth creamy and nutty notes with a pleasing coconut finish. A very good brown ale that doesn't taste watered down

As far as a Brown Ale goes, this is one of my favorites. Malty but not overly sweet. Bitter finish.

This is better than its rating. Creaminess. The roasted malts last the whole sip and then some. Like coffee with light cream.

Bottled April 2011. Strange. Smells like liquor- almost as if it was aged in Pinot noir barrels. Liquor aroma pretty strong. Taste wise, a little sweet, a slight liquor taste. Aroma definitely stronger. Not a typical brown. Doesn't taste bad! But..strange.
