An exceptional American Brown Ale, that taste more like a stout brew. Nutty, dark roast coffee notes, with refreshing solid body taste. And a 7.2% ABV, who can ask for more? Cheers from sunny Southern California USA! 1/25/14

Good taste not a brown ale fan

Very similar to a typical German black beer. Reminiscent of Monchschof Schwarzbier. Delicious.

Dark ale with hops, though not as much as advertised. Well-rounded and smooth.

Very enjoyable taste with a nice Carmel finish.

I don't love this a little to much of a lager taste for a IPA

Nice hoppy cone with a chocolate/coffee finish.

If you like REAL brown ales (and by real I mean toasty with a little punch of spicy hop notes) the this brew is for you. If you prefer nutty or flavored browns, you might not enjoy this but should try it to expand your pallet!
