The floral flavor of the hops is really good.

I was really unsure what to expect from something calling itself a Gaelic ale. I was really pleasantly surprised. Good flavor and has some bite but not at all harsh or overly bitter. Glad I tried it in a bottle and look forward to having some on tap when in asheville.

Pretty average in terms of amber ales, but maybe I'm just not that into them? Can't say it was anything different from other ales.

Outstanding brew from start to finish.

Malty up front with a hop finish. Good body; a little sweet for me

I'm not a fan of highland brewery. No offense but this past weekend I was in NC where this stuff is made, and I picked up a mixed case of their beers. The Gaelic ale, oatmeal porter, mocha stout, a pale ale, and a wit beer. All of them had a funky taste about them that I couldn't pin down. Not for me
