My version was 2012 Reserve. Wow! Very complex. Molasses, oak, cherry, and more. Poured oil dark with barely a head. It's gonna take all 22oz to get all the favors.

High alcohol but well masked. Coffee flavor but subtle. Not too sweet. Winner!

Thick. Malty. Sweet. Long. Redolent of oak barrels with a slight tang of bourbon. Smoke notes shine through the long slight bitter finish.

On tap, rich Carmel dark chocolate stout. Stronger and less on the bourbon unlike surly darkness

Smelled very similar to Obsidian stout. Big explosion of flavor and carbonation, very much an imperial. Much less coffee, great cocoa, but leaves palate early. Hidden abv

Officially my favourite beer ever! Do much flavour: chocolate, oak, and a smooth note of molasses. This is pure liquid heaven!!!!
