Good taste. Not super heavy

First reaction will be vinegar but not in a bad way. This is definitely a sour type beer. Also definitely have it with Apple pie ala mode!!!

Big, bold, some sweet, high alc 11%, can taste some alc in finish, very rich and rugged. Tasty, but hi alcohol.

I don't get it! Horrible nose and tasted like a stale Oreo

Really good, expected it to have a thicker mouthfeel though

Definitely a 5 star beer, but I personally prefer the alesmith speedway stout. This was a bit more bitter and I personally have a preference for the slightly sweet imperials. I also must say lagunitas imperial stout stands up to both in my opinion and is under 5 bucks. Don't know how they do it. Regardless however if you can get your hands on this stuff it's definitely worth a try and lives up to the hype.

Complex, full, good flavor at every end. Got lucky and found it on tap barrel aged on my birthday.

Frothy tan head that lingers. Opaque black hue. Roasted malt and coffee aromas. Big, bold flavors echo the nose. Full bodied with ample carbonation. Nice find.

Quite complex. Appears Very dark, light brown foam that fades quickly. Aroma is light and sweet and misleading. Flavor is dark and fruity and sweet and bourbony with dark roasted coffee aftertaste. Recommend Anderson Valley Wild Turkey Barrel Aged Bourbon Barrel Stout as a much friendlier, NON-Imperial alternative with more mellowness and more bourbon. Rated this 3.5 for me, but 4.0 for an Imperial Stout.
