dlitolff - December 27, 2014This beer was delicious. Supremely flavorful, the cherry bark and licorice stand out, not too sweet with great balance, silky. Drank 2013 bottle in December 2014, over a year old.
beerisgreat - December 26, 2014Beer royalty! Chocolate, coffee, raisins and molasses. Great feel and smooth finish. Enjoying a 2 year aged bottle right now. My favorite beer and not even close.
LP1 - December 26, 2014Sweet aroma. Raisins or Madeira smell. Coffee/espresso flavor. Sweet taste. Really good. Wow. Gets better with each sip. Mild aftertaste. Will definitely try to find again. A good sipping beer.
bockboy@att.net - November 2, 2014A. Very complex, ages very well. The 2014 has a smoky barrel aroma. The 2009 has a hint of licorice and some oak with molasses. Very complex and balanced.
