I am VERY jealous of y'all doing it again in Atlanta. Wish I could be there. Boston was oisntandutg!!! Unibroue is fabulous!!!But I'm almost more excited about joining y'all from second life via Mark's ocean front property.Make sure you have it in a location with wifi and you can also stream the event live over USTREAM with a webcam and a laptop. I'm looking forward to it!!!

Good beer, I just didn't like the hint of fruit taste it had.

Westie 12 turned out to be a complete surprise...not at all what I was expecting. Had it bottled and imported to The States. Aged about 8 month old. Dark, rich, and very complex. I'd compare this more to a fine port that to any beer I've enjoyed, in the way it was rich, fruity and smoky at the same time, continued to evolve as it warmed in the glass, and had a finish that went on and on and on. I'll definitely try this again (have another one aging in the beer fridge). But this time, I think I'll hold it for 3 years or so. I'm curious to see what some longer aging will do to the flavors. More to come...

Had this at the Monastery in Belgium. The first thing I noticed in the glass was the way it shined like a fine wine. The nose was heavenly sweet and alcohol, this one was 13%, the head was smooth toasty brown, but the flavor and the mouthfeel make me dream of beautiful things, and they linger on the palate for a long time. This is heaven in a glass
