Just what you would expect from the best brewery IMO, lots of hops and over the top flavor. Not for everyone, but a great ale for those like like a kick you in the face dark. I can't really describe it better than the bottle itself. It's a beer mans beer.

Really good dark ale. Blackness and flavorful ness. All the good of dark with the balance of brown, the hops of pale, and the fun of beer.

Black IPA

Very few breweries have a black IPA, but Stone has the best. Not too overpowered by the hops, yet still smooth and "thin" like a black lager. By far the best black IPA around.

A black IPA that's hoppy and bitter but smoother and less floral. One of my current favorites.

Hoppy just like a typical Stone brew. By far my favorite beer from Stone.

My first Stone brew. Starts great but the long bitter finish is too much for me.
