Bought this in NY for Christmas but never drank it until 6 May 2017. Moderately hoppy and deceptively easy to drink, given its 9% alcohol.

Good pour, thin head, lighter Amber color. Pine and floral nose, front with pine and moderate hops, back with moderate hops and bitterness. No so bitter as to be uncomfortable.

Dark malts make this Strong Lager a good fit with beef or steak.

Little hoppy, just ok, good not special

Fashioned after "Krampus" (the fanged, horned demon that arrives with sticks and chains to beat the shit out of bad kids at Christmas), this amber lager offers robust flavors, bold bitter bite, floral and piney flavors, and an 8.2% ABV that will kick you right in the jingle bells! A great seasonal lager! Sure to please!

Overrated...hoppy not much spice...southern tier continues to disappoint .. One of the most overrated breweries in the country.... Waste of money .. Not a winter style brew..garbage

Imperial helles lager. Thick foamy white head that slowly dissipates leaving a thick net of lacing. Dark copper in color with an aromatic spicy nose and aromas of winter spices like cinnamon as well as sweet malt. Incredibly smooth with a creamy malty bready backbone followed by a bitter hop bite and dry winter spices to balance the initial sweetness. Great beer.

Surprisingly good, and smooth.
