A good beer. Tons of fruit but light carbonation. Certainly due to abv although it is well hidden. A solid choice but not too pleasing overall

Good, strong, fruity. Mouthfeel is solid considering abv. Good, a have again if nothing better is around

10JUL12, Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN Tripel, dark with a medium-to-thick mouthfeel. Dark fruits are prevalent but the spices nicely complement rather than overwhelm (unlike the rochefort 10). A bit on the sweet side, but would be enjoyable on a nice autumn day. Tastes like the other Trappists, but isn't a Trappist. Has a lot of carbonation. As the beer sets in the glass and the carbonation settles, flavor mellows a little bit. 22JUL13, Flanagan's, Louisville, KY 12oz, Leffe goblet Pours an opaque medium brown with a full, tan, light, one-finger head. Aroma is a little boozy, with some dark fruits. It doesn't seem nearly as biting as it did when I first had it. It seems a lot more balanced, and delicious. Very very good.

A tripel - on the complex beer list from yardhouse- but i had it in a bottle. It got etter as it sat there in the glass. It def fell ito the avg taste of the complex beers but probably one of the lowest of the good ones Great in bottle. Had a second time With dave.

For being 10% alcohol is not too strong the flavor is really good but not over powering.

Very surprising color for a Tripel , hides the 10.5% very well. Tastes like a wicked strong Dubbel . Very similar to a Westmalle Dubbel in taste, now that I sip some more it's like a Quad Dubble hybrid in flavor and mouthfeel, pleasantly surprised !! A+
