zomerhouse - January 3, 2013Strong iron notes mixed with fruit. Bitter with slight caramel sweetness at tasting followed by some spices. Pretty good but kind of hoped it would be better

Bottle marked April 2011. Very very good. Some orange on the nose with yeasty farmhouse notes. There's definitely a little bit of spice, but it's actually balanced with the yeastiness. It's what I want from a Christmas ale. Warm enough to welcome in the season, yet light enough to continue enjoying through multiple glasses.
