Light & mild for a porter. Drinks more like a brown ale.

Pitch black. Lighter tan head. Nice lacing.
Chocolate and espresso nose. Not getting much roasted malt. A bit of hops now. Enticing.
Exactly what I want from a porter. Could session the shit out of this. Chocolate up front. Coffee follows. Tasty. Very smooth. No harshness, little bitterness. I expected the finish to fade but it maintained smooth, chocolate finish.
A new favorite porter? Perhaps.

Hoppy and light in body for a porter. Chocolate notes are very mild. Not what I expected, but not a bad drink either.

Nice and dark. Coffee black. Slightly smoky nose. More mild and not as flavorful as I expected, however. Some coffee and mild hops. Overall kind of bland......

Too thin and hoppy for my liking, but I am a huge porter fan and have high expectations as I've had excellent examples of the style... 2.5/5.
