Not a good trippel. Hoppier than expected and a little too much banana. Disappointing because I was expecting something else.

Very poor example of a Belgian Triple. Almost no aroma, absolutely zero head, and almost no perceptible flavor of a typical triple. Very disappointed that New Belgium has decided not to do a secondary fermentation in the bottle; how do you expect to produce a Belgian style beer without that?

Nice balance of sweet spice and hops. Heavy fruit/banana taste with some nice bitterness. Got in the New Belgium combo 12 pack. Good beer.

Yum. Color: Pale, flax / straw. Smell: Smells like a fresh sourdough starter mash, yeast, plus a little fruity. Taste: if it were the tiniest bit less hoppy and had the tiniest bit more body, I'd rate it 4.5 or 5. The hops are a huge turn off (why do craft breweries keep doing this), but they aren't overdone that much, and the flavor is slightly sweet, malty, yeasty, and stays on the palate. I would buy this again just because it's so hard to find an easily accessible, reasonably priced beer that I actually like.
