Great vanilla notes. Very dark. Smooth for a strong beer. Great around 55-60 degrees

Malty and chocolate with noticeable alcohol flavors. A good strong beer.

Vanilla and red wine nose. Vanilla is prominent on top of a bourbony smooth stout with a little heat at the end.

Best beer but strong

Very dark and robust. But maybe a little to boozy for me

Jet black, with a malty, sweet booziness that is warming and borderline hot

A few years ago, I would've given this beer a five star rating. But now, with all the amazing Imperial Stout's that are aged in bourbon barrels and such, this beer seems like a gimmick. Not much depth or complexity, it is very sweet with a yeast flavored finish. They need to stick this beer in a barrel for a few years to come close to the great beers that are out there now. And it is overpriced. 12.14.16 Draft at Tommy's Sea Bright 3 stars
