Very bitter. Pretty good, but if the like the rochefort 10 or 6, you may not like this one.

Poured dark brown with reddish tinge. Very little to no head. Next to no alcohol for 9.2%,taste of figs, slight cocoa. Wineish quality. Goes down too easy for 9.2.

Awesome beer. Definitely a beer to relax and sit with. Like a filling but smooth apple cider with some cinnamon. Reminds me of colossus - but 9.2 percent and better taste

Enjoyable Trappiste Belgian, pleasant flavor but went straight to my head.

Carbonation heavy. Dark color, smell similar to the 6. Flavor impeded by carbonation, nice on the finish.

Brown like the Ommegang Zuur but very full in flavor. Similar to Cimay but not as raisiny. Similar to the beer todd Wilbur brewed.

Amazing beer. Not as much alcohol as the 10 so it doesn't make u as warm thus the alcohol level is even more hidden. Wonderful fruity favors and aroma. Much less sediment than the 10. 1 thing I've noticed is that the end of each rochefort bottle has the best flavoring, save the best for last I suppose. This and the 10 are the best dark beers around.

Pours a dark, opaque, brown/black with arguing head (depending on the pour). Nose has lots of dark fruit with hints of chocolate. Flavor was mostly roasted malts with tons of chocolate in the aftertaste (delicious!). Overall, great, but not as great as the 10.

Dark fruity, mild, smooth taste. One of the finest beers that I have tried. Must try again.
