FabAru - May 10, 2019Perfect representation of the style. Brilliant. Bravo. Drink again and again. And the dates and caramel and etc. So I have a more recent bottle of this abbey ale that says its 8.2% abv, and a Dubbel ale with licorice root, orange peel, and spices. Is this the same beer? It was still stupendous and five stars.
ohnoimonfire1 - October 31, 2016SRM19. Moderately lasting tan colored head. Lots of sediment in the glass. Grape plummy aroma with a little bit of chocolate malt. Perfectly lacy head sticks to glass. Well carbonated with deep plummy taste to match aroma. Deep and flavorful.
