Very enjoyable. Seems to have more carbonation and less malty sweetness than other dubbels, but that's not necessarily a criticism. Slightly astringent.

Pours dark copper with frothy tan head, fruit ester nose, typical dubbel maltiness, hints of dark fruit but with a drier than normal finish, as it warms there are traces of tobacco and a light alcohol burn...goes down easy with Appleton Reserve 12 dark rum
