dkrenik - February 10, 2013Lingering creamy head with coffee and chocolate on the nose. Toasty toasty chocolate flavors echo on the palate.
jason r - February 5, 2013Pours deep and dark with a tan thick head that has a mix of a rocky and tight bubbly head. A mix of alcohol and roasty chocolate on the front of the palate with a slight hoppiness. Nice lacing of tiny bubbles cling to the glass. Not as astringent as other RIS. Roast dominates on the back and lingers a touch too long
yelmelnobrainer - January 12, 2013Hoppy, burnt chocolate taste. Far more hops than the typical stout. Also a lighter, sharper body than most, rather than being smooth.
maddog - January 7, 2013Taste like malts were roasted in the pits of hell. I love stouts, but this was a strange one as it was too bitter.
