Slightly hoppy for a stout and lacks the chocolate and coffee flavor. A slight bit of smoke flavor on the backside.

Very well made stout with complex malt flavors. Alcohol. Dark fruit flavors.

Less stout than I'd like. More hops than normal but I like the expresso taste

It's a good stout. I would easily and willingly drink it again, and over many others. It's especially good in the middle where the roasty malts come through. Its very bitter. My one gripe that doesn't make it an absolute favorite is the soapy note that accompanies the smoky finish. Still, in no way is it a complaint!

Solid stout, mostly smooth with a slightly dry aftertaste. Tastes very much of cocoa, maybe a bit of coconut.

Dark, opaque brown/black with fine head that lingers. Aromas of roasted malt and chocolate/toffee. Malty palate with notes of coffee. A bit coarse with solid alcohol on the palate. Overall PFG.
