Lives up to the hype. This is a very good quad. Malty, caramel, just the right amount of carbonation. If I were St. Bernard, I would walk around with a cask of this around my neck.

Dark beer,Rich flavor, malty taste. Expensive beer. 18 dollars for a 4 pack. After that 4 pack, more than likely you will have a nice buzz:)

I've had off of tap and in bottle and different years. A very solid quad and worth it's reputation, I have seen variation in each of my tastings but over all great pours give it a 3.5 for me

In top 2-3 beers I've had. Complex, dark smooth Abbey

Full flavored but not too heavy

Very close to my favorite beer. Chimay Blue.

This was the first Belgian that I was introduced to and boy oh boy it never disappoints just solid flavor Belgian candi sugars provide the necessary malt backbone and alcohol but without the burn my all time fav

Strong ale with raisin flavor. The high alcohol content overpowered some of the other flavors. Had on tap at yardhouse, i remember the bottles being more balanced
