kkazlowski - May 25, 2013Nice medium body with a full flavor. Somewhat robust, but not heavy, though deeper than many other German beers. A little hint of sweetness.

A bit sweeter than the Hefe. It's darker with similar body. Not served with lemon. The sweetness has good flavor, and is balanced by other maltiness. Enjoyable.

The flavor that Troy doesn't like is the darn fruits undertones. Some fig w/ spices. Not really bad, just different. Beer rating unchanged.
TrevorT - April 5, 2012Ok dark lager. Color is a medium brown with a light white head. The aroma is a soft chocolate with a nice light lager crispness. The taste is a balance between a mild hoppy citrus and a soft roasted malt. Good but forgettable. 2.5 of 5 stars.
