Has a pretty good aroma but it tastes like almost all Saranac beers do. And I don't think that's a great thing. It's not as bad as some of their beers but it has the signature strange hoppy, maybe molasses kind of flavor. Might be better on draft. Definitely doesn't taste like vanilla though and it has too much of a bitter aftertaste for me.
ADDENDUM: if you have a sip after you eat Tostitos IT TASTES LIKE A GRAHAM CRACKER. Still not a great beer though.

Shockingly smooth and nice vanilla end. Makes you want a straw
