A light porter with a good clean, crisp finish.

Lovely, full porter. Deep, dark body and a thin head. Lighter bodied than American porters, and with much subtler chocolate notes that really allow the roasted malts to shine. All ingredients are extremely well balanced and detectable. If nothing else, a highly respectable porter for its 1700s-style antiquity.

Nice. Chocolate, coffee. Hops comes through, just right smokeyness. Smooth, chocolate, hoppy after taste. Sweet aroma. Not at all heavy.

Rich, and thick with nice chocolate notes.

Good overall. Nice flavor, little bitter but doesn't linger. Definitely would drink it again.

Dark brown with a tan head that lingers fairly and laces somewhat. Nose has some cocoa and toast, with a hint of molasses and caramel, if dry. Taste is more of toast, only slightly burnt. Body is light-ish on the lighter side of medium, with a lightly tingly and slightly chewy mouthfeel.
