Smooth and easy drinking with very slight cinnamon and ginger flavours

Very tasty stuff. I really look forward to this one every year.

Hints of caramel, chocolate and spice. Added all up and it doesn't work for the full beer.

Nice smokey & nutty flavors. A little bitter aftertaste but not bad for an ale.

Nicely spiced, tastes like a winter seasonal without going overboard on sweetness.

Chocolatey aroma. Good, clean spice taste.

Kinda bland. The spices are there but not amazing.

Very fruity and fairly sweet. Left a nice pillow like head with decent lacing throughout. Almost tasted like wine; strange beer and probably too strong/fruity to have more than one.

Carmel notes seemed flat, but overall a decent taste

Nice offering from the folks at Samuel Adams. This was one of their first seasonal brews, one of the first for any micro brewer in fact, and it remains consistently delicious and honest, nothing pretentious.
