1 pint bottle poured into a tall Pilsner glass. Pours a caramel, amber color. Nice 1" pillowy head. Aroma is caramel, malt and spices. Mouthfeel is medium, taste is caramel, malt and some sweetness and mild hop bitterness at the finish that balances nicely. One beer is very filling, a meal in itself. Good beer but too heavy to drink more than one.

Very strong but in a good way. Has a bit of a whiskey flavor at the end.

Recommended at HOPS in Aspen. Easy drink. Great flavor.

B. Thought I liked this better, but I think my tastes have changed. Smooth and malty with some warming alcohol. Fairly simple aroma and flavor profile.

This is my favorite doppelbock.

A good malty, no hops lager. It's a good winter warmer.

Well made, but not my style of beer. Tastes too whiskey-like.
