Malty and sweet with a strong taste of raisin. Very good Belgian ale.

A bit creamy, dark, sweet. All this yet not over the top with any of these. Very well balanced. Liked this unique ale a lot.

A good deep flavor without being too heavy for me.

Mahogany ale, brewed with Belgian beet sugars, green raisins and a sense of purpose. 8% by volume. My first thought was a green raisin is a bad raisin but my first sip told me I was wrong. It also told me I was drinking this at the wrong time of day. Fairly sweet,I'm thinking breakfast beer. There were three different kinds at the store. This box said it was voted the best beer of last year so I picked it. I'll be back for the other two. Rating is based on my tastes for 9pm. I'm going to the bar soon so I'll probably save this six pack for tomorrow morning and adjust the rating accordingly.

Not my thing, if you like oatmeal stout drink this beer. I think it's miscategorized as an ale. Certainly not as thick, I'll be donating the rest to needy taste buds

If you're not getting a beautiful fluffy cream colored head from the bottle, you're not pouring it fast enough! Beautiful dark Belgian funky ale. Earthy esther and raisin flavors leave a sweet and sour finish. Near full bodied mouthfeel. Excellent!
