Very fruity. Dry finish. Ok
smells like poor - May 28, 2012
Brown/amber, tan head that quickly dissipates, no lacing
Raisins, malt, brown sugar, candy-like aroma that can't be placed
Raisins, spice, sugar, malt, very slight alcohol warmth
Thin body, moderate carbonation
Easy drinking, but very odd for a bsda

Decent aroma. Definitely strong flavor. Tastes like its about 20% alcohol. Not smooth at all. It has an awful aftertaste that lasts for minutes after you take a sip. Hopefully it goes away soon. This is not my style. If you want something strong and heavy, I'd go with the Dogfish Palo Santo Marron over this any day.

Pairs well with a delightful coconut glazed donut! Mmmmm!

Very interesting, stronger than you might expect.

Subtle grape flavor aftertaste.
Nice aroma; couldn't imagine having more than one of these.
Sweet.

Sweet, robust, crisp finish with definitive raisin overtone. Not as full bodied as a good stout, but then again, that is not what it's supposed to be.

Can't go wrong with anything from dogfishhead!
