2014 version not its best. Little heavy on the brown sugar and low on the pumpkin. Still quite drinkable and among the most solid bets for pumpkin ales

Smooth ale. Easy to drink and no odd aftertaste. Other pumpkin ales are almost harsh with spice but this ale is mellow. I'd have it again.

Clear orange in color with one finger of white head that quickly dissipates. Aromas of pumpkin and squash. A spiced brown ale it is medium in body with pumpkin flavor at first followed by dry all spice clove and cinnamon flavors. Has a dry yet malty finish maybe from the brown sugar. Overall a balanced tasty pumpkin beer.

A great, yet powerful flavored pumpkin. Always a good choice.

Very nice spiced brown ale with a hint of pumpkin. Atypical maltiness for a Dogfish brew.
