I am a Shiner Bock guy but this was good for something lighter. I do like a blonde that goes down easy.

When I was a runner (70s-mid 90s) among the reasons I listed for running every day was: ?So I don?t have to drink ?light? beer. Even though I ride my bicycle rather than run now, and eat mostly fruit, nuts, vegetables, low fat protein and no solid food after 6 PM, it?s been decades since I had a lower calorie beer. Don?t need to. Hard to remember and compare. Bought a 6 pack of these on sale at Lucky?s because Shiner Bock is one of my favorites and to see if I want to keep some for guests who want a lower calorie beer. No much flavor but nothing to offend either. I?d serve to guests who want lower calorie and might drink one myself on a hot day when I want lightly beer flavored water.

Great beer for BBQ or meat. Also a Saturday beer for lighter cal/carb

It's a very light refreshing taste, hints the name light blonde.
