Like liquid pumpkin bread, in a good way. I can drink a few glasses of this and really enjoy it. It does that flushed complexion thing for me that sometimes happens with 8-9% and above. I mean that in a positive way. Side note: Pumpkin flavor is catching flack right now, but it's the one thing currently being overdone and overused that I have loved and will love regardless of its shark-jumping. Viva la pumpkin.

Very light pumpkin beer. Ginger snappy taste taste kinda deteriorated as it went on.

Too gingery. Although try it again because my palette was hoppy

Pumpkin bread tasting is the best analogy you can make. Good tasting not overwhelming when it comes to the pumpkin.

From 2011 fall seasonal - a year of aging has made the notes and aromas deliciously mellow and blend into s beer that's pumpkin in a glass. Malty bready pumpkin & yam aromas give way to a smooth velvety squash beer. No spice or cinnamon this is like drinking a pumpkin. Drank in 9/6/2012 and had 2012 vintage on 11/1/2013
2013 seasonal - It is so much better fresh on draft. Pumpkin pie in a glass. Sweet pumpkin cinnamon aromas with a complex squashy pumpkin pie taste. Good in bottle best on draft. Drank 10/16/2013
2014 seasonal - had it on draft as well as in the bottle. Bottle was better this year. Frothy white head full of pumpkin pie spices, cinnamon and vanilla. Pumpkin pie in a glass. Complex tasty the bar all other pumpkin beers aim to hit. Long live the king!
2016 seasonal - had it in bottle so far this year. Frothy white head full of vanilla first, then pumpkin pie spices & cinnamon. Malty at first sweet graham cracker notes and overall pumpkin pie in a glass. Complex tasty the bar all other pumpkin beers aim to hit. Long live the king!
