Hugely thick, almost syrupy with a sweetness to match. Toasty dark malts are almost chewy in their prevalence. The finish is sweet and very punchy.

Heavy alcohol taste! you can taste the Carmel. heavy malt taste almost like it's been in a whiskey/rye barrel. good beer to try if you like high Alc content and not a hophead like me. Good beer

Heavy FULL beer. Caramel flavor, aging for a year.

Warming, smooth, great hop/malt balance. Need to buy 12 and try one every 3-6 months.

Old Ale. Interesting. Translucent brown/copper. Aroma is a bit dark fruits, a bit earthy and a hint nutty. Has a Golden Ale undertone, with some bitterness and maltiness to balance it out. Mouthfeel is medium-thick, and finish is almost dry. Very complex. Fun to drink.

Strong alcohol taste that overpowers other flavours until the palate becomes accustomed - not a great trait.

Ok, strong but not much else that interesting 2012 ... Eventually poured it out

What's great about this brew you can distinguish the tweeks in it. Malty sweet dulche de leche flavors and rich are the best words to express its awesomeness.

Top 5 beer I've ever had.
