Here's some deep shit for you. Kind of a bummer story to go along with this beer. I work at an extended stay hotel. We have this guest that has been here for about 10 months and he is always drinking old Milwaukee. We serve shiner and miller for free at dinner and he'll bring his own pint down instead. He had a stroke yesterday. He's in the hospital in stable condition but has no mobility on one side of his body. His wife checked them out so she could get a room closer to the hospital he's at. She left about two cases of beer in his fridge. We were just going to throw it out but our executive housekeeper, Eugene, decided him and I should split it. As we were loading it into a trash bag to take out to my car I said, "help me find a way to make it not seem like we're playing off his misfortune." Without hesitation Eugene said back, "Some people pray and some people drink. If you don't wanna pray for his recovery then take these home and drink to his good health. He wouldn't want these beers thrown away." So Here's to you Mr Byerley!

Grew up on this - typical light american fare, but evenly hopped, crisp and refreshing.

The original old milwaukee in the red and white can was my grandfather's beer. I drink it for him, and it's not as bad as milwaukees best. This original is actually a good beer. Its not lager, but not pilsner. It kinda falls right in the middle
