Stop ordering this. It's not good for a double. It's not very malty. It's a bit hard to drink.

Strong for sure, especially with clear alcohol taste, but not as full-bodied as one would expect. Anise, caramel, and brandy notes. Smooth clean finish.

Best abbey ale I have bee had. Strong (8%). But no overly sweet boozy taste just smoothness
