10.4 ABV with 102 IBUs. Heavy, sweet and Strong like Bull! But balanced enough to still be very drinkable. Excellent Double IPA.

Pours a nice copper red. Strong grassy nose. The hops punch you in the mouth at taste, then are nicely balanced by malt. Syrupy like a great DIPA should be. Very enjoyable. Gets sweeter as it warms. High ABV is not for the weak! Good Shit!!

Clear amber-orange color. Thick white head. When cold, hoppiness has a refreshingly bitter crispness. Has a piney, grassy aroma, with the grassiness dominating the flavor. There's a subtle maltiness that brings everything together. Definitely better as it warms. Gets sweeter. Really flavorful, nice. Enjoyable to drink. 100 on RateBeer. I wouldn't put it at 100, but still really nice.

Holy shit! This is an intense, complex IPA. 102 IBU's with caramel malts, low carbonation, creamy. Very good, but drink slowly. Bottle, March 2013.

It says 10.4% alc/vol. on this bottle. So perhaps this release #17 is higher than stated previously. I just dropped it a star from my last review. Too much alc. over powers the taste sad to say.
