Wonderful hoppy flavour. Just a tad to bitter

Pours a hazy reddish mahogany with a white a quick fading head. Hoppy and woody nose. The initial taste is like candied apricots. A thicker mouthfeel promotes this sweetness. Subtle bitterness, very balanced. A lingering sweet aftertaste. This is a very complex and fruity beer. Despite it's higher strength there is no alcohol bite. Grab yours while it is still out.

Strong hop aroma, super malty. Almost syrupy. Definitely a full bodied strong ale. The label was idiotic.

Friggin good, oakey and hoppy and strong, delish. Bottle, December, 2012.

Smoked oak leads the charge directly into a fastness of sweetened nut. A bitter element presides over the event. "if my favorite whiskey were turned into a beer ..."

Stone always makes nice strong hoppy ales. No exception. A delight for me, but not the faint hearted

Combo of arrogant bastard, Oaked arrogant bastard, and double bastard. I'm lukewarm to any of those three beers in their own. Together, they make a very enjoyable combo. This is a strong and hoppy beer with a lot of layers.

Arrogant Bastard, Double Bastard and Oaked Arrogant Bastard. Perfect blend of the three. Really brings out the arrogance of all three brews.

Toasty hops. Reminds me of a brown ale mixed with an IPA.
